"Through several years of involvement with CSA, I've come to respect them immensely as an organization. When our medical students have our annual medical mission not only do we have a great time, but I know that we are part of a long-term development goal for these communities. Bringing together international groups, local NGOs, and governmental organizations, CSA provides the cooperative environment missing from so many community development initiatives."

“CSA was very professional and organized. Much easier to work with CSA than my other host organizations in the Dominican Republic”

“Working with the community at Las Palmillas was both rewarding and fun and just an overall amazing experience that I will have with me forever.”

"The entire experience working with the CSA staff and the women's group of Hato Mayor was one that I will not ever forget. The staff at CSA worked very hard to make our stay comfortable and complete. The best part of the trip for me was seeing the look of gratitude that the women in the community of Hato Mayor expressed towards our group for the work we did in both health promotion presentations and in helping to complete the construction on the women's center. This trip offers much reward for those willing to dedicate their time."
